[Of course working for SHIELD definitely had its risks, but, she didn't think she would end up somewhere completely different to where she had been a moment ago. A literal portal had opened up, and before she even had a chance to really figure out what the hell was going on, she was pushed through by the person she had been fighting.
Landing on the uneven ground of a forest, Daisy laid there for a moment as she tried to catch her breath. Pushing herself up just a little she turns around to see the portal was gone. Quickly getting to her feet in a panic, Daisy looks around and all she can see is trees for miles.
Aimlessly she starts hurrying around the area, hoping to find the portal again. Slowing her footsteps when she thought she heard another pair, Daisy's hand reaches for her gun and she quickly draws it, turning off the safety as she spins around and aims at whoever it was behind her.]
[ Henry'd seen the portal from where he'd been camped out, alone while trying to find some rare mushrooms for Regina. Ever since they came back to the Enchanted Forest, he'd thought there'd be an opportunity for him to find and write his own story. So far, nothing had really panned out the way he'd thought. It felt like something was always right there, a story waiting to happen, but he just hasn't been able to get to it. Honestly, there was more excitement in Storybrooke.
So, he can't help investigating where the portal opened and one hand is on the hilt of his sword, drawing it when he hears footsteps ahead. But the trees are so dense, he can't fully see. ]
Who's out there? I saw the portal open, you don't have to hide.
[He knew what a gun was and this place looked like Earth. At the very least she knew he wasn’t Asgardian. Watching him put his sword back, Daisy cautiously lowered her gun. Turning the safety back on for now at least.]
Skye.
[Like hell she was going to give him her real name right now.]
[ Henry pauses and looks at this woman, some apprehension in his features now. ]
What do you want with Ella?
[ Not that he knows her personally, but she is a princess and he is a prince. Well, more of a knight right now, technically but whatever. The point is, he protects people. ]
What realm are you from? I'm assuming one without magic.
Wait, what are you doing?! Where are you going? You don't even know where you are.
[ He can't just chase after her though, so he runs back for a second, grabs his white horse, then rides to catch up to her, getting ahead, then turning the horse to its side so he can look at her, and she'll have to walk around. ]
Look, Skye, I can help you figure this out. But it's gonna be easier if you trust me when I tell you it'd be better if you come with me.
Well, no. It's not that dramatic. This is generally a peaceful kingdom. Maybe if you want any shot of getting home, though. Unless you know how to get a portal. Or you have some crazy way of just...I don't know. Making one out of thin air.
Never said you had to. We'll be somewhere we can hopefully get you help in no time.
[ 'Help' being a portal but he's already trying to remember the last time he even saw a magic bean. Good luck, Daisy Skye. ]
So, you seem like the type to not talk to me because you don't know me, so I'll go. I was born in Arizona, tossed in the system, but I was adopted and grew up in Maine. You wanna turn or should I keep going?
Wow, you know that's a bold attitude aimed at the guy who's trying to get you back home.
[ Still, he notices the look, and wishes like hell Emma was here to maybe talk to this woman. She'd managed to not believe in any of this for a hell of a long time and now look at her: married to a pirate. ]
Maybe you should ask questions if you want. Anything.
Only because I know you're stubborn and would have wound up asking anyone for help at some point.
[ Back atchu girl. ]
So...they're rare. Really rare. I came through one when I was eighteen and that was ten years ago. Usually, they're a one-way ticket which is why I noticed you coming through. The fact that you didn't actually want to go through means someone did.
[ But why? Though, he should explain how they work. ]
Portals take you to wherever your heart wants to go the most. So if you really didn't want to be anywhere, theoretically you should have just wound up back wherever you live. Which means someone was trying to send you - or someone around you and you got unlucky - through this thing.
Wrong realm, sorry. That's Oz. I've never been there, but maybe my aunt can help you. It's where she lived for a long time.
[ As the Wicked Witch, but you know what? Baby steps. He stops in front of her, expression softening from up on his horse. ]
Look, I know this is confusing and probably terrifying. But I know some people pretty powerful with magic. If anyone can get you back, it's them. But we have to get to them first.

I'm not hiding.
[Gun trained on him, Daisy's eyes wander over him on the look out for any possible weapons before locking eyes with him.]
Who are you?
no subject
[ As a show of good faith, he sheathes his sort, though he does keep one hand on the hilt of it. ]
My name is Henry Mills. And you are...?

[He knew what a gun was and this place looked like Earth. At the very least she knew he wasn’t Asgardian. Watching him put his sword back, Daisy cautiously lowered her gun. Turning the safety back on for now at least.]
Skye.
[Like hell she was going to give him her real name right now.]
How do you know what a portal is, Henry?
no subject
[ He hasn't used one in years, hasn't even seen so much as a hint of one around. ]
no subject
[Well... She’s not wrong, but she doesn’t know that. Which is why she’s totally mocking him.]
I don’t know. Someone else opened it and I fell through.

Is that not a common thing?
[Unless by magic he meant powers like the one she possess. Not that he knows about that.]
I’m from Earth. You know. Earth.
[Good description.]
no subject
[ And it's real clear to him now that this person's never seen magic before. ]
Are you...from a state in the US?
no subject
[Daisy takes in his attire and, maybe it’s just denial, but..]
Are you LARPing? Is this some weird LARP fairytale thing?
no subject
[ HE'S REAL CONFUSED. ]
I mean, you showed up, in the place where I live. That's all I know which seems to be about the same information you know.
no subject
Well then I guess we won’t get anywhere. So.
[So she’s already walking away. Honestly she doesn’t know where the hell to go, but...
Yeah. She has no idea what she’s doing.]

Daisy’s back is to him as she debates what to do. Finally she turns around to face him, arms crossed over her chest.]
Fine. But I’m not getting on the horse.
[She doesn’t trust him and she’s never been on a horse before.]

Why don’t we just stick the actual issue right now and not your dating profile?

How rare are the portals?
[She better not be stuck here.]

[Clearly she believes that too, especially with the way she rolls her eyes.]
I’m not scared.
[Yet.]
And where are they exactly? Wonderland?
